Electoral officials on Friday said they received 225 nominations for the 2026 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections on the third day of the nomination period.
Returning officers received 220 nominations for candidates and five from designated bodies.
A total of 685 nomination forms from candidates and 11 from designated bodies have been received since nominations began on Wednesday.
The poll, scheduled for November 22, will return a new term of the 1,500-strong EC, which will elect the chief executive and 40 members of the Legislative Council.
The nomination period runs until October 20.
